How Many Weaning Meals To Give Per Day?
A baby should have a minimum of six meals per day, with two or three of them being breast milk or formula. The other three to five meals should be solid foods.
The best time to start weaning is between six and nine months because the baby’s digestive system is mature enough for solids. It is important to know that babies may react differently to different types of food, so it is best to introduce one new food at a time and wait at least three days before introducing another type of food.
